Join us for the Transformative Circles Orientation Session on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 at 7:00 am Pacific Time (US and Canada)
What is Transformative Circles and who is it for?
It's a monthly, one-hour virtual gathering, hosted by Sherry MacKay and Tarana Patel. This virtual space allows educators to explore their identity in today's world of paradoxes through SEL (Social Emotional Learning), self-care, reflection, and actionable strategies for change and well-being.
Monthly Meeting Date, Time, and Location:
The second Tuesday of each month via Zoom at 07:00 a.m. Pacific Time (US and Canada).
What is the purpose of Transformative Circles?
Learning and inner transformation allow us to act with clarity and self-awareness at work, at home, and in society. Transformative Circles is an emergent space to dialog with SEL,
TI-SEL, and RTL as systems and ways to find your ground and source your strengths for change. Who are we as teachers in today’s world? How can we work on the transformation needed to meet today's realities? How can we build communities of support? How can we affect and inspire change? This virtual, dialog-based shared space is an opportunity to engage in mindfulness and embodied practices through discussion questions, reflection practice, and feedback.
